I arrived at Enchanted Forest around 9 a.m. today. I could hear plenty of chirps etc. The weather was very overcast and sometimes so dark I could hardly see. I am sure I missed quite a few birds due to poor visibility. The best birds were swainson's warbler and magnolia. The others were the expected warbler's though I had 2 or 3 FOS. It was quite birdy with 10-15 birds seen at one time in the very large trees----species included: black-throated blues, american redstarts, ovenbirds, prairies, red-eyed vireo's, yellow throated warbler, common yellow throats, northern waterthrush, black and white's, northern parula and worm eating. I am pretty certain about seeing a cape may there too but won't count it just in case I am wrong.I also saw my fos Palm warbler. I stayed about 1.5 hrs. It was raining when I left.
