It happened to me last week... someone posted a photo of a bird... I looked at the plumage and quickly called it a Western Tanager... I didn't think to look at the bill... twas and Oriole... then on Saturday at your Annual South Dade TAS walk... I quickly called a Tri-color Heron (Louisiana Heron) a Harrier... My eyes aren't what they use to be without binoculars.... At least last Saturday I corrected my own mistake and didn't have to be corrected by Larry!
Missed you Saturday... Hope to see you and the boys soon.
