Today I had a chance to go by the intracoastal area in Lake Worth called Snook Island boardwalk and adjacent area and this is what I got:

18 Semipalmated Plovers
4 Least Sandpiper
15 Black-bellied Plovers
2 American Oystercatchers
2 Ospreys
1 immature Cooper's Hawk swoop down and immediately shorebirds took off in all
directions - No one was hurt in this encounter!
Lots of Fish Crows
Some White Ibis
1 single Willet
1 immature Little Blue heron + few adults
Lots of Laughing gulls having a good time and laughing away (u=
until the Coopers' hawk showed up that is)
A few Cattle Egrets around the Golf course were seen
1 male Anhinga
A couple Spotted Sandpipers on the rocks (where else do they go?)
1 immature BrownPelican
Several Great Blue Herons
Rock Pigeons on the rocks
6 Sandwich terns
12 or so Royal terns
6 or so Ruddy Turnstones
Some European-Collared doves flying about
1Eastern Kingbird
2 Gray Kingbirds chasing bugs on a tall tree on the edge of the Golf course.
23 species in total if I didn't forget anything.
I think that was it.

On a total unrelated event and report...yesterday, I quickly went towards Belle Glade and I
did see flocks of Bobolinks flying around. Some landed to feast on some rice before heading down to Central and South America. The best sighting hands-
down was a Black Rail in flight. The rail was on the corner of Gator Rd and Hatton Rd. I immediately went back to the area where I saw it flying and guess what? Of course, i did not see the elusive rail. I played the call and
the bird would not come out from within the thick vegetation. What a sight!! Unfortunately, NO photos!
