Without knowing there was an ani around, I went to Cape Florida between 5-7 pm. There was a large flock of eastern kingbirds eating berries in the hammock along the paved bike path. One great crested, and most interesting, an acadian flycatcher calling over and over. Otherwise, nothing exciting- lots of red-eyed vireos, and a few white-crowned pigeons.
