12 birders showed up this morning for the 1st Sunday walk of the Fall. Under blue skies, the walk started slow (lots of Blue jays, not much else) but after a bit the birds started coming out, and we ended up with a nice day's list. Highlight was a life bird for everyone - albeit uncountable - when we found the Lavender Waxbill behind the LAC buildings. We also had 2 FOS Eastern Wood-Pewees, and had good looks at the Tufted Titmouse.

We also had 9 species of warbler, although only Toe saw the Blue-winged, which could not be re-found. Others included Ovenbird, Parula, B&W, Prairie, Yellow-throated, Redstart, Worm-eating, and BT Blue.

Thanks everyone for coming out, and we'll look for you again soon!
