I stopped in at Enchanted Forest with my brother Mike and cousin Jared from 4:30-6pm this afternoon. At about a quarter to 6 we relocated the Chestnut-sided Warbler in a large Strangler Fig on the south side of the horse stables. It was associating with a couple Prairie Warblers (by far the numerous warbler in the park). In total we tallied 9 species of warbler and 2 species of vireo:
Yellow-throated Vireo
Red-eyed Vireo
Yellow-throated Warbler
American Redstart
Northern Waterthrush
Prairie Warbler
Northern Parula
Black-and-White Warbler
Worm-eating Warbler
Ovenbird
Chestnut-sided Warbler - year bird #274!!
