Last Saturday. Such a treat to see several Whimbrel, Marbled Godwit and a lone Long-billed Curlew working the same flat. Watching a Wilson's Plover walk within a foot of a basking croc was also much appreciated. Eventually the croc noticed I was close and ran into the channel, throwing mud on me and my skiff and rousing a Bull Shark on the channels edge.
Another nice pairing occurred near Lostman's with a Whimbrel feeding in the vicinity of a large sawfish that was missing the majority of its rostrum.
