Those would be Golden Orb Weavers, more commonly called Banana spiders (Nephila clavipes). The big ones are the females; one or more *much* smaller males will also be on the webs. Also look for for the small silver and black kleptoparasitic Dewdrop Spiders (Argyrodes). I've heard stories of small warblers being caught in the webs and eaten by the spiders. Harmless to humans.
