Brown Thing @ Cutler Wetlands

Today there was a probable Brown Thing in the middle of Cutler Wetlands. It's shape was roundish, with a long thing coming out of it and a smaller round thing with eyes and a bill at the end of the long thing. It's colors consisted of brown, a slightly darker brown, and another brown alot like the first but only a bit more "Cinnamony." The brown thing was seen associating with other brown things that were a little different. I believe the brown thing had two, thin brown things underneath it that it used to walk. Please me with the ID.
