And today was definitely a down. After a pretty good week for my Bird-A-Day efforts, I was hoping today's rains would keep the streak going. Unfortunately the rain didn't help. This afternoon I covered the west side of Matheson pretty rigorously, but only came up with a handful of migrants that I've already used, and nothing notable at that. Luckily this morning under the rain I poked into the Canoe Launch by Deering and got a Double-crested Cormorant for B-A-D just in case. The last few days I've been celebrating with a good libation, but today I will celebrate with a Bud Light, which I added water to in order to increase its flavor.
