For whatever reasons the birding godz felt like rewarding me today, first with a very cooperative Cerulean Warbler(lifer) that allowed for excellent looks, enough for me to confirm it as being a first fall female (and yes I triple checked all the literature, pictures and drawings before coming to this conclusion); the next surprise was a Mississippi Kite (another lifer) soaring amongst what seem like and endless stream of Barn Swallows. Migrant activity has pick up in the zoo as of lately, yesterday I had an Empid Sp. and today there was a strong presence of Redstarts and B&W Warblers; as for the birding godz I will offer them lots of fine CONAG to show my graditute.
