I received another e_mail from Bob DeGross at BCP. Everglades National Park was also hit hard by Wilma and is closed until futher notice. A recent note on this BirdBoard said the same is true for Biscayne National Park.

: at the Big Cypress Preserve, that both ENP and BCP are closed until further notice due to Hurricane Wilma damage. The Loop Road
: is blocked in several places by downed trees. I have no details on ENP or information on Biscayne National Park.
: The natural areas of the Charles Deering Estate suffered a lot of tree damage and are closed. The houses are fine. They will be open tomorrow. No word on any other county parks at this
