Hello Everyone,

Wilma has passed and did her damage and I had my share, but I decided to make
the best of a bad situation. I went to Bill Sadowski today for some post storm
birding. The park had a lot of damage to the hammock. None of the entrances to
the hammock were clear. I made my way around over and through many fallen trees
only to see very little along the trails. It may have been due to the excessive
noise create by making my way through the mess or that I just didn't see the
birds because I was busy watching my step.

I did see enough that I decided to sit in one spot and wait for the birds to
come to me. This worked well...

Tomorrow I will search for the gulls at Cutler Wetland. Toe said he looked
today and found many gulls but they were in another area of the construction and
some were hidden by hills and valleys. Toe saw 1 Franklin's Gull and not the
Black Headed Gull. He did say that it is entirely possible that the bird was
there but hidden.

Having Fun in South Florida :)
