The catbird probably flew into a window. Sometimes, they are able to recover if kept in a quiet place, like a box in a protected area left open so they can fly out when they are ready. But sometimes, they are unable to recover and nothing can be done.

Thank you for asking, and as Toe pointed out, catbirds are relatively common, but it sure doesn't hurt to try and help one if we can. (They are not invasive European Starlings, after all).
