On Sunday, May 12, my wife Janice and I observed a pair of Common Mynahs. The birds (first posted here April 20, 2002) were stuffing nesting material into a street light (mounted on Florida Keys Electric Cooperative's power pole #532 in front of the Coral Isles Church (mile marker 90), and adjacent to both the old and new Overseas Highways.

Jan has also recently observed Mynahs on the Overseas Highway in Layton (at Little Italy Restaurant) and at the south end of Curry Mammock State Park (near Coco Plum Boulevard).
