This afternoon I birded Enchanted Forest/Elaine Gordon Park for thirty-five minutes while my mom shopped at Publix. I only birded the center of the park south of the pony stables that isslightly flooded, and butterfly garden which is fenced off by orange fence. Most birds were in the short-leaf fig trees. In that short time I had the following:

Cooper's Hawk
Sharp-shinned Hawk
Peregrine Falcon- chased Cooper's Hawk in a spectacular aerial display very high up; the Cooper's Hawk was just way to slow to evade the Peregrine Falcon
Ruby-throated Hummingbird
Red-eyed Vireo
Yellow-throated/Blue-headed Vireo- heard only
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
Chestnut-sided Warbler- the sixth Chestnut-sided I have seen here this fall
Cape May Warbler- first fall
Black-throated Blue Warbler
Prairie Warbler
Bay-breasted Warbler- two
Yellow-throated Warbler
Black-and-white Warbler
American Redstart
Common Yellowthroat
Indigo Bunting
Painted Bunting

Not bad for an early afternoon, half our outing.
