I believe October is the earliest I have ever had P. Buntings stay at the feeder, though in Sept. I had a single one pass through that did not stay. I have had buntings every year for at least 12 years. The male P.Bunting that appeared yesterday at the feeder has come again this morning. I think that increases the chances that he will be staying.
