Started the morning off at 6:20am in the Annex hoping to catch some birds stopping in. As I got out of the car I could hear flight calls but it seems the weather was not harsh enough and most kept going south. After almost 3 hrs I was able to find a couple migrants but definitely not as much as I would like.
Louisiana Waterthrush 1
Prairie Warbler 3
American Redstart 1
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher 6
Barn Swallow 7
Cliff Swallow 3
On the way out there were many more Barn Swallows over the Agricultural fields but no shorebirds except for Killdeers. I stopped at Indian Hammocks on the way home for about an hour and had a small mixed feeding flock just east of the skatepark in the Live Oaks but the nature trail did not turn up much.
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher 5 (1 with feeding flock)
Northern Parula 3 (2 with the feeding flock)
American Redstart 1 (along nature trail)
Yellow-throated Warbler 1 (with feeding flock)
Prairie Warbler 4 (all with feeding flock)
