I spent the weekend on the gulf coast and had the opportunity to bird Fort DeSoto and Sawgrass Lake Park. Unfortunately it was just like home. The only migrants I came across were a couple Barn Swallows spread between both locations and a single Blue-gray Gnatcatcher found at a rest stop while on I75!! I think Toe's bad juju rubbed off on me...
