I wasn't looking for rarities, just out trying to film some flying shorebirds, but at least the birds are here. Seems like the best spot is on Brown's Farm Road on the west side, just beyond a building which is about half a mile past a big truck parking area. Other birders reported Baird's Sandpiper from there. I didn't see any, but I don't have a scope. Plenty of Stilt Sandpipers, Dowitchers, Pectorals and Yellowlegs. Gull-billed and Black Terns, too. It was good to hear the calls of Least Sandpipers again.
