Fifteen minutes ago I was out in my front yard and heard BG Gnatcatchers calling. Across the street in the Bottlebrush trees I could see their movement. I went back in the house to get my binoculars. As I zeroed in on one, six flew out of the trees, gained altitude rapidly and were soon out of sight as they headed south.
