Well Ace, I didn't get to see the Western Tanager, but I had a nice time in
: the park looking. I saw a variety of birds that have recently arrived to the
: park.

:

: Scarlet Tanager (Beautiful Male)

: Magnolia Warbler

: Spot Breasted Oriole

: Painted Bunting

: Very Pale capped Red-Eyed Vireo

: (I've seen this bird before and it has eluded my camera so far. I think it may
: be a Warbling Vireo. There is barely a cap visible.)

: Yellow Throated Vireo

: A real Red-eyed Vireo

: Parula

: Prairie

: Whip-poor-will

: Ovenbirds

: Northern Water Thrush

: and others...

Another deformed bird. It is missing the top of its bill. Could anyone tell
: me what kind of bird this is? The bird was about 5.5 - 6.5 inches long.

Your bird is a Rose-breasted Grosbeak.
