This is a belated report of highlights seen on
Christmas day in the Everglades National Park:

7 am Flamingo campground:

Yellow-throated warbler - 1

8am--9am Eco Pond:

Roseate Spoonbill - 2
Short-tailed hawk - 1

3pm--4pm Mahogany hammock:

Scissor-tailed flycatcher - 1
Western Kingbird - 2
Blue-gray gnatcatcher - 1
Eastern phoebe - 1
Barred owl - 2

5pm--6pm Anhinga trail:

Snail kite - 3
Wood stork - 1
