Mid-morning I decided to try A.D. Barnes Park and found a nice selection of birds for early August.
Cooper's Hawk - 1
Black-and-White Warbler - 7
Yellow-throated Warlber - 4
Prairie Warbler - 4
American Redstart - 1
Red-eyed Vireo - 1 (homeless hammock)
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher - 4
Spot-breasted Oriole - 2 (homeless hammock)
White-crowned Pigeon - 1
Carolina Chickadee - 1 (just north of the nature center in pines)
