Coopers Hawk

I had a close encounter early this morning with a Coopers Hawk. By close, I mean it flew about 20 feet from me, perching on a power line, as I was opening my gate. It probably was waiting for my morning supply of seed for my bird feeders. No doubt, scrambled White-winged Doves were on his menu.
