Today I followed much rhe same route as the LaFramboise's did yesterday and found basically the same birds or less. However, I did find Upland Sandpipers (and little else but grackles and kildeer at two sod farms. On US 27, after crossing the canal at the bridge that has a King Ranch Sign and a Classic Turf Sign with an arrow pointing North, I headed north and stopped at the first sod field with a somewhat limited view window at its southwest corner. A Pair of Uplands were working the field in this area. Later I stopped at the sod far on the south side of 880 just east of the Brown's Farm Road turnoff and found one additional Upland (scope needed here).
