This morning early in the Annex near Luck Hammock I spotted several (6-8)
Blue Grosbeaks. They were on the West side of the road just before the entrance
to the road going west to the mobile home on the canal.
Over all it was a quiet morning. I saw only a few warbler species a only a
few of each. I was expecting much more...
I tried Royal Palm and saw little there at all. A couple of BT Blues and
Crows. At Luck Hammock I saw Larry as I was leaving and it is possible that he
saw more. I believe the weather had a lot to do with not seeing much. I arrived
in the area just after a big rain storm. The bird may have not become active
while I was there.
I have also birded Bill Sadowski Park the last few days and numbers of
warblers has been down from late last week.
Today's list:
Blue Grosbeak - Life Bird for me!

This Ovenbird was parading with its crown flashing.
Their back....
I am hoping for a Warbling Vireo next time...
