After a couple nights of thunderstorms and east winds, I figured it would be a good idea to check out EF/EG this morning to see what was around. Numbers were high but diversity could have been a bit better. From 7:30- 9:45 I had...
Solitary Sandpiper- flyover at the same exact spot one flew over 4/04
Common Ground-dove
Ruby-throated Hummingbird
Red-eyed Vireo
Tufted Titmouse
Swainson's Thrush
Veery
Chesnut-sided Warbler- three
Magnolia Warbler
Black-throated Blue Warbler- many
Prairie Warbler
Yellow-throated Warbler- heard only
Northern Parula
Black-and-white Warbler
American Redstart
Worm-eating Warbler
Common Yellowthroat
Northern Waterthrush
Ovenbird
Swainson's Warbler- one along the path across the bridge
A Spot-breasted Oriole was seen on the way back in Biscayne Park
At school the other day there was a Cape May Warbler along with the hordes of Black-throated Blues, and Merlins have been seen daily.
