This morning Ezequiel, Mike and myself birded the new scrapes on the north side of Research Rd across from the Daniel Beard Station. We were there from 7:30 am - 9 am and tallied 30 species including Snail Kite. There was a lot more water than the last time I checked - enough for a cormorant to try fishing!
