Before the rain cut short my day at H. T. Birch State Park I found a Louisiana Waterthrush on the Beach Hammock Trail. There were a few Atalas around along with a good many Statira Sulphurs. Phantom Darners (Triacanthagyna trifida) were common along the wooded trails and there were a couple of Spot-tailed Dashers (Micrathyria aequalis) near the Canoe Launch, a life dragonfly.
