Since it looks like there's nothing better to report, here's a story of a new species of bird discovered in Cambodia. What's interesting is that it wasn't found deep in an inaccessible jungle, but instead in an urban construction site. Reminds me of the time I stopped at a pond in a construction site and found two Red-necked Phalaropes along with the other shorebirds, and Dade County's 2nd Black-headed Gull was hanging out in the Lennar construction site near Cutler Wetlands. That's what we need for birds, more construction sites!
