powder blue cattle egret

This morning around 7 am on the southern side of S.W. 328th Street just west of 137th Avenue, there were about a dozen Cattle Egrets. Most were normal but one was bright powder blue in color, all over the body except for the tannish mark on the back. I will try to get a photo later today. Does anyone know why this bird would be blue?
