Sunday AM Sept 18 I went out to Bill Baggs to try to locate the golden-winged warbler Robin had seen twice. No luck, but while I was there a flock of about 15 light brown birds flew over. I thought they were bobolinks, but there was no "pinking", no sound at all. As they came closer, I was able to make out black throat marking on a couple of them. They circled, then went below tree line somewhere over the western end of the park. Keep an eye out for Dickcissels when birding Baggs.
