Hey all! FWC and myself heard about this colony for the first time Saturday morning. By the time I arrived Ricardo Zambrano (FWC shorebird biologist) and Ann Wiley had marked it off already. It will be monitored throughout the season and the data will be entered onto the Florida Shorebird Database - https://public.myfwc.com/crossdoi/shorebirds/index.html. This is exciting news because the last major ground colony in Broward was about 20 years ago!
