If you are unfamiliar with the Onion, I suggest you read a few other articles to get an idea of their "tone". I appreciated this because they had obviously consulted a real birder.

In local news, I had four Bronzed Cowbirds in my yard the other day. Whether I'm driving to work, looking out my kitchen window, or playing basketball on Campbell Drive, this species manages to find me somehow in the course of my daily life.
