Went out to Loxahatchee on Monday and again yesterday. A few migrants on Monday -Prairie, Prothontary, Redstart, Gnatcatcher. Basically the same things as seen at Pinetree Park by the apartment in Miami Beach. Also at the beach -Red-eyed Vireo, Northern Waterthrush, Ovenbird, Gray Kingbird, Eastern Kingbird.
The hit of the week for us was the number of Limpkins spotted at Loxahatchee yesterday. We saw 11-12 on about a 3/4 mile stretch along the eastern canal side of the Marsh Trail. Most Limpkins we've ever seen in one day/spot.
