This morning at 8:30 am I went back to Bill Sadowski Park looking for the
Western Spindalis. When I arrived Toe was already headed for the trail where I
had spotted the bird. We search that area for 15 minutes with no results. There
was a lot of other activity but no Spindalis.
We decided to walk through the canopy hoping to see or hear the bird, again
with no results. We saw a lot of other birds then went back to the trail to the
canoe launch. Searched there for another 15-20 minutes with no results. In total
we searched for an hour and a half.
Unfortunately no Spindalis, but we did see...
Summer Tanager
Prairie Warblers
Black Throated Blues
Red Starts
Worm Eating Warbler
Ovenbird
Black and White Warbler
Northern Parula
Red-eyed Vireo
Yellow Throated Vireo
Blue Grey Gnatcatchers
Spot Breasted Orioles
