Could you give us some additional old-fashioned clues about the Black-Rail Site's location along Holey Land RD?
For example, was the RD made of asphalt or gravel at the Site?
Also, was the Site E or W of the Miami Canal?
(The Miami Canal runs along the W boundary of Holey Land WMA and the E boundary of Rotenberger WMA. Driving across the Miami Canal involves first driving S on a concrete bridge over the east-west L-5 Canal, then immediately W on a major control structure across Miami Canal, then immediately N on control structures across L-5/L-4 Canal. Unauthorized cars may or may not be blocked by SFWMD's locked gates.)
