I finally have my Internet connection again so I can post a few sightings. We are in a new house west of Homestead so getting new yard birds is not that hard. The best so far:

Sooty Tern
Bridled Tern
Bank Swallow
Cliff Swallow
American Redstart
Least Sandpiper

We traveled to Lucky Hammock and the farm fields near by; we did not spend that much time but did see:

Black-bellied Plover
Western Sandpiper
Sanderling, which is pretty unusual for the area.
Sandhill Crane

Our neighborhood had water about 4-feet deep! I have been expecting ducks and shorebirds to come in soon. The water at the moment is about 12-inches deep; we expect it to drain in one or two more days.
