No sooner than I got out of my car, I heard the Antillean Call...that was just before sunset; 7:40pm or so...
The bird would show up then call a few times, disappear for about 5-10 minutes and then return.
Once I saw what was likely the bird... being I was looking at a nighthawk when the pitty-pit-pit call came from the same direction... the only bird in that location at the time.
Soon Angel and Mariel showed... then a little later Rangel showed as well.
It was a good time for all... getting a great bird for Dade County.
