This morning while birding Lucky Hammock, Conrad Sankpill and I relocated the Brown-crested Flycatcher that wintered in the LH area. It was .4 miles south of the hardwood hammock, across the street from the large brown sign designating the conservation area. It was giving its sharp "whit" call and was perched close to the road.

Blackpoll was the warbler "du jour", with ~30 in LH area. There were a few other warblers, including 2 Magnolias. Also of interest: Bobolinks (hundreds), Indigo Bunting, Common Nighthawk, Gray Kingbird, Dickcissel (2) and Red-eyed, White-eyed and Black-whiskered Vireos. We never tripped across the Bell's, but it may still be there - other birders were looking for it.

We picked up a few more warbler species and Swallow-tailed Kite along the Old Ingrahm Highway in ENP.
