There are three pairs nesting in the marsh on the west side of the southbound levee about 100 yds south of the SFWMD gate. They have been on their nest about two weeks.

This location also hods young blue herons, snowy egrets, and a couple of tri-colors. Also saw a pair of mottled ducks.

If you visit this location, stay on the levee and banks. There any many gators hidden in the grass down by the water.
