I spotted five Upland Sandpipers on the fields just south of the intersection of SW 217th Ave and SR9336. The birds looked like they were going to roast in the smoldering heat, but then the skies opened up and a torrential downpour cooled things off for them. As soon as you reach the T-intersection, turn right and immediately turn left (south) onto a dirt "road". The birds were on the third set of plots on either side of the dirt road. Look through all the plots though, the habitat is just right!
