While Bobolinks are in the blackbird family (Family Icteridae), they don't have a long, pointy bill typical to blackbirds. Their bill is more sparrow-like, so I can see your confusion. If it were a Le Conte's Sparrow, though, it would have shorter wings, a streaked breast and white belly and it would be much brighter orange-buff on the face. The bird in your photo, a female Bobolink, doesn't show those characteristics. Also, the tail of female Bobolinks may appear dark, but they're not black.
