Correction: The location is EAST of I-75. SW 148th Avenue is the first road going north when you exit Sheridan, east from I-75. This morning from 7:45 am to 8:45 am, I was at the location with Wally George and Russell McGregor. Using a spotting scope, we observed one Swallow-tail Kite on the nest. There were four other Swallow-tailed Kites circling overhead around the next area. The nest is located on Marvin Lane, one block south of Sterling Road on SW 148th Avenue. At the first house on the south side of Marvin Lane in the third pine tree on the east side of the property. The nest is best observed from SW 148th Avenue. There is plenty of parking along SW 148th Avenue.
