I birded the western end of the park for about 30 minutes today during lunch. Warblers seen were Palm Warbler (1), Blackpoll Warbler (10) and Redstart (5). Three Yellow-billed Cuckoos were seen as well as an immature male Rose-breasted Grosbeak.
This morning I learned that Cardinals eat lizards. Today I also learned that Knight Anoles eat strangler fig berries. A large specimen was high up in a tree gulping down berries.
