Great birding on campus today. Only once before have we seen this many migrants on campus. Wonder what Arch Creek/Elaine Gordon and Greynolds Park were like.

-1 Black-throated Green Warbler

-3 Palm Warbler
- 2 Connecticut Warbler (one singing!)
~5 Worm-eating Warbler
~29 Ovenbird
~18 Northern Waterthrush
~38 Common Yellowthroat
~21 American Redstart
-2 Solitary Sandpiper
-18 Spotted Sandpiper
-9 Semipalmated Sandpiper
-20 Least Sandpiper
-2 Yellow-billed Cuckoo
-2 Rose-breasted Grosbeak
~75 Bobolink in a overgrown field, any more flying over.
Amazing numbers considering extent of suitable habitat.
