All,

Migrants are headed for the coast right now, west winds seem to have delayed their arrival this morning. After seeing some warblers flying in over the bay at 11AM, we decided to check the MIA radar station which confirmed our initial thought that birds were still out over the water. As on Saturday, birds were flying past the boat all day while we were out in search of pelagic species. The Cape was jumping this day and has been ever since.
If you can get out, go to coastal migrant traps such as Dagny Johnson, Matheson, Bill Baggs, Arch Creek, Evergreen Cemetery etc., it looks as if birds will be making landfall from Key Largo to N. Miami or even farther north.

Get out and bird! If you can't skip out on work or aren't off already, bird after work. We have a feeling you won't regret it.

Birds are dropping in over N. Miami, right now.

Nature is Awesome
