New yard bird! I just got home and the yard is full of migrants. All the regular things, including 2 separate n. waterthrushes. Under the elderberries right next to the carport (3 ft away), I looked through the binoculars and there it was- Connecticut warbler!
Two bronzed cowbirds (male displaying) yesterday, and the spot-breasted pair are still visiting daily. I thought the first yardbird Swainson's warbler a few weeks back was exciting...
