Hi,

Went to Flamingo today for the Shiny Cowbird. We found the adult male with the Brown head flock by the visitor centre easily enough. However when searching the camp ground at the end of the road we found another bird which was a 1st summer male as the majority of plumage was adult but the flight feathers were still black/brown with no sheen on them and pale tips. This bird then flew and landed beside a full adult male Shiny !

We went back to the visitor centre but could not see the one there. So there are definitely 2 birds possibly 3 ? We have photographs of both birds .

Cheers

Craig
